At times, we have all been there: the hustle and bustle or the loss of a loved one or (enter your own struggle) overwhelms the joy we expect to feel during the holidays. While I do not have any easy solutions for you, here are some reminders during the holidays:
Take time to honor yourself and your needs.
Pause and take a deep breath.
Find a way to breathe fresh air.
You are not alone.
Reach out to people who love and cherish you.
You are strong.
You can do hard things.
It's okay to not be okay. This is a season in life that will pass on by. Reach out when you need to and honor yourself. You can do this. In case you need the reminder: I believe in you.
